THE BAMBOO SCAFFOLD

Michela Locci

The Bamboo Scaffold is a photo series by Michela Locci that explores the contrast and harmony between modernity and tradition in contemporary China. Through a two-week family journey, the photographer captures moments suspended between fast-paced cities and rural villages, between glass skyscrapers and terraced rice fields, ancient temples and neon skylines.
