A photographic journey taken in June 2024 over 17 days through the small remote towns and magnificent landscapes of Colorado, covering 3,500 kilometers up to 3,600 meters above sea level in a state with an area equivalent to half size of France.
Colorado is a contemplative narrative, a personal view of a territory rarely visited by Europeans, compared to neighboring California, Utah, and Arizona. A mythical name that often leads to confusion with the Colorado River, which flows through five American states.
The historical and contemporary architecture of these small towns nestled in the vertiginous mountains creates a unique atmosphere. The past of the gold rush rubs shoulders with the new rush for white and green gold.
