OXYMORON

Words David Mesa.

Oxymoron follows young men as they rehearse masculinity through proximity. Between play and confrontation, bodies negotiate power and tenderness. What appears as sport becomes choreography; what reads as dominance reveals vulnerability.

Set between the urban margins of Peru and an enclosed blue interior, the series blurs documentary and staged intimacy.

The body becomes both armor and invitation.
