THE EARTH OF A PLACE

How round is the EARTH?

Does it revolve around us or within us?

Such a beautiful common ground to call it home,

Very much free of its possession.

Yet the constant search of mankind makes us question

If home is what parental care or actual mum and dad means.

How do we search for this precious abode called HOME,

Yet dwell in a place filled and surrounded by trees, birds,

And the beautiful line of the blue skies hovering above us.

For circumstances have led to the search of man,

The meaning of this presence and the feel for belonging called home.

Ran into the arms of strangers called friends,

The smile of the elderly so to be called father.

What else brings the satisfaction of all this running

And the embracement of home?

Father!! Oh Mother,

For have I not come from the same pattern

And the procedure of entering “THE PLACE CALLED THE EARTH”?

Dreams become the rescue of the faith in which we search for,

Bringing closer the understanding of love.

Dance at the shore to the drumming waves

And under the dim, golden sunset.

Hold my hands, dear stranger,

Catch me as I smile through the chase of my shadow, friends and dreams.

Might not bear the demarcation of home,

But the presence of solid corners feels present,

Flattered and covered by unknown feathers.

Never lose this place called Earth. 

Felt the physical form of these concrete buildings,

Beautifully carved by the hands of mankind,

Yet rooted with empty holes and still can’t find home.

Stop chasing home while enjoying the borderlessness of the soul. 

How will I be a stranger to myself

When I have not mastered the art of searching?

Gold and silver drown my head since

I thought I knew what home is.

Fill all my space within your four pillars

No corners needed because of the invisible breath you give within this space.

Oh home that I call the Earth.
