WHERE YOU STAY

Christian Navarro
Where you stay is a project that looks back on the nostalgic feeling of boyhood, using Hawaii’s social landscape to explore its meaning. Boyhood as an imaginative space, where the world feels wide open, and identity yet to be solidified.
Curiosity, vulnerability, longing, play.
The photographs were made intuitively, capturing scenes that felt familiar to the photographer. Like boyhood, the meaning of the project could only be perceived once it was left behind.
