KINGDOM OF MOROCCO

Omar Macchiavelli

Omar Macchiavelli captures on film Morocco’s unique colors, landscapes and textures, creating a vivid reportage of his latest journey.

Among the more unexpected highlights is his stop at the Ouzoud Falls—a detour off the typical tourist path that reveals Morocco’s subtler, earthier beauty. Here, Machiavelli turns his lens toward the reddish-brown cascade, where mineral-rich waters tumble over terraced cliffs. The falls’ muddy hues, shifting from deep rust to soft ochre in the changing light, contrast sharply with the lush green olive groves that surround them. It’s a moment where color and motion collide, and Machiavelli captures it with a quiet intensity, revealing the raw, textured soul of the landscape.
